Spring is Here

As we head towards christmas I will start adding a few silly stories about my life here in the Algarve. It's been rather chilly and wet recently, but the vegetables are growing well, and the first spring flowers have been out for a couple of weeks. That includes quite a few of the ubiquitous rock plants:



some roses:



the Bougainvillea of course:



the weed oxalis which grows rampant everywhere:



and the oranges are now ready:



and the jonquils and irises are bursting up through the ground and should be out in another week or so.

It's all happening.

Oh yes, sorry for asking but how much snow have you guys got back in the UK?
